Introduction

The one thing that seems to baffle people about renovating their homes is lighting. Often a second thought, lighting is the single most important aspect of design in my humble opinion. What good is that beautiful new sofa without a pair of equally stunning lamps to light it up? Or that gorgeous dining table with the tacky chandelier hanging over it that draws your eye instead?

I have visited numerous websites to research everything I could about designing with lighting. The one big disappointment was that I could never find everything in one place. I created this blog with the hope that I can make a complete collection of information on the topic, so that any question you may have will hopefully be answered here.
